Responsibilities
- Respond to the user software or hardware queries via tickets, emails, or phone calls.
- Visit customers’ sites to perform on-site services and troubleshoot incidents.
- Provide consultations for IT software and hardware, assemblies, and connections of the customer.
- Solve issues related to Windows 10, 11, Office 365, basic active directory administration, new user setups (User Accounts, Mailboxes), network.
- Provide first-level technical support (e-mail, phone calls).
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide problem analysis and software testing.
- Identify the issue, guide the user through the required steps to resolve it or escalate to the relevant team as and when necessary.
- Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
- Build and sustain a relationship as the primary technical contact for partners and customers.
- Cooperate with technical, sales teams on a daily basis.
- Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.
- Deliver the highest level of satisfaction with the services offered by the company.
- Deliver implementations, upgrades, and configurations of products.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support services in Dubai (very Important)
- Able to install, configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and printing devices.
- PC hardware and software troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Basic administration of exchange server and mobile email technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues without supervision and deliver easy-to-follow solutions
- Working experience with operating systems (Windows based, Mac OS is advantage), networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, DNS, DDNS, DMZ), mail software, Microsoft Office 365 experience an advantage.
- Proactive understanding of partner/customer's needs and delivery of satisfactory services/solutions.
- Driving license will be an advantage.
- Fluent English language spoken and written is mandatory.
- Should be in UAE.
